Featuring the industry-standard two-pin G23 base with a built-in internal starter, our replacement PL-S lamps allow for quick, push-fit installation into compatible UVC units. Manufactured with high-purity glass to ensure maximum transmission of 254-nanometre ultraviolet-C radiation, these twin-tube compact bulbs break down algae cells as water passes through your filter casing. Because the active germicidal output of UV lamps naturally drops after six to twelve months of continuous running (even while the bulb still glows blue), installing a fresh PL-S lamp at the start of spring ensures peak clearing power during the sunniest months of the year.
